After writing short stories and submitting them to publications, Joseph Strickland's interest in screenwriting was inspired by watching film documentaries that told stories of American life.
His first screenplay, "The EPIDEMIC", was written after reading a newspaper article about the growing AIDS epidemic in America.
He then went on to write a second screenplay
about the racial divide in Chicago. And after seeing the Jeffrey Dahmer trial on television, Strickland was inspired to write "DUAL MANIA".
Currently, he is working on several film projects, and is anticipating
a 2015 release of a work in progress.
